Students frequently need useful items for only part of the year. RookMarket makes it easier to buy nearby, sell before moving out, and reduce unnecessary waste.
A Cornell email is required to enter the live marketplace. Listings, conversations, and organization storefronts remain connected to confirmed accounts.

RookMarket stores account and campus-verification details, profile information, listings and photos, saved items, messages, offers, reports, reviews, and organization applications you submit.
This information is used to operate the marketplace, limit access to eligible students, deliver messages, moderate listings, investigate reports, and maintain service security.
RookMarket relies on service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, email delivery, and listing moderation. They process information only as needed to provide those services.
You may edit or remove listings through your account. To request account access, correction, or deletion, email support@rookmarket.com.
Do not place sensitive personal, financial, or identification information in listings or messages.

You must use an eligible campus email, provide accurate information, and use your own account. You are responsible for activity performed through that account.
Describe items honestly and comply with the marketplace rules. RookMarket provides the marketplace and messaging tools; buyers and sellers are responsible for inspecting items, agreeing on terms, and completing exchanges safely.
Do not list illegal, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited items; harass others; misuse personal information; evade moderation; or interfere with the service.
RookMarket may review, restrict, or remove listings and accounts when needed to enforce these rules or protect users and the service.

MARKETPLACE RULES
RookMarket is for ordinary student goods. Listing text and photos are checked before publication.
Firearms, ammunition, explosives, tasers, realistic weapon replicas, and other weapons.
Recreational drugs, prescription medication, vapes, nicotine or tobacco products, and alcohol.
Stolen items, fake IDs, counterfeit goods, and fraudulent services.
Completed assignments, exam answers, impersonation, and cheating services.
Sexual services, gambling services, or other illegal activity.
Unsafe chemicals and anything that cannot legally or safely be sold peer to peer.
Clear violations are blocked. Ambiguous listings are held for a human moderator instead of being published automatically.
